Detached cottage, formerly an inn. Late C17 or C18. Rendered rubble, slate
roof. Two storeys, 3 windows, all small 2-light casements with glazing bars,
but two with horizontal bars only; off-centre, left, under C20 lean-to roof a
porch to C20 door. Two large gable stacks; right return is plain, left has a
C20 2-light casement; C20 extension to back. Interior has one good bressumer
fireplace, remains of stair alongside, right side. Reputed to have been
thatched.
