A pair of cottages, formerly one house, and attached
outbuildings. Late C18, with mid C19 alterations. Coursed coal
measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, with flush quoins,
coped gables with moulded kneelers, and gable brick stacks to
house part. Cottages. Two storey, three bays, with glazing bar
sashes set beneath flat lintels, with faces incised to imitate
voussoirs. Centrally placed coupled doorways with massive
ashlar jambs and lintels, both with rectangular overlights with
margin glazing. C20 doors, one plain, the other glazed.
Outbuilding, two storeys, four bays, with single doorway to east
end, with massive surround and plain door. The upper floor has
stacked vertical ventilation slits.
