TL 50 NE WILLINGALE Outbuilding to north of
5/121 Wardens Hall


Coachhouse/stable, later part forge. Early C18 and of red Flemish bond brickwork
with blue brick diapering. Tall, single storey in height with hipped peg tile
roof, with off-centre ridge line stack (formerly symmetrically matched by another).
The main east elevation has the centre slightly breaking forward and a central
simple entrance door. Either side of this, a 'Venetian' type window with semi-
circular arched centre with flat shoulder either side, now with C19 replacement
casements. Additional doors on the outer edges of facade; that to the north,
with glazed small pane, rectangular fanlight. Contemporary king post truss
roof and some forge fittings including bellows. Linked to Warden's hall by
short length of red brick wall.
