Estate lodge. Circa 1865 by Nathaniel Kent, Redbrick with blue
brick bands. Plain tile half-hipped and hipped roofs. Brick
lateral stack. PLAN: Rectangular plan main range with large porch
on side rising to 3 storey tower with turret. High Victorian
Italianate style. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and 3 storey tower. Half-
hipped gable end of main range on right with 3-light bay on
ground floor with hipped roof and 3-light window above with
segmental brick arches. Sash windows with glazing bars. On left
side a large porch with segmental brick arches, rising to tall
square 3-storey tower with 2-light windows on first floor, and
single-light round headed windows on 2nd floor, corbelled brick
eaves, hipped roof and square turret corbelled out from 2nd floor
with octagonal timber lantern with lead-clad tented roof with
finial. Projecting lateral stack on opposite side. INTERIOR: Not
inspected.
