Dovecot. Probably c1700 with alterations in 1868. Sandstone rubble
plinth and brick with tiled roof and wooden tiled lantern. Octagonal
plan with principal front to north-east. Two storeys. North-east elevation
has segmentally headed opening to upper floor. Sandstone ground storey has
central canted water trough in moulded round arch with inscription GHD 1868.
Low octagonal lantern on wooden posts, probably also 1868, has open sides.
Side entry. Interior noted as having many nesting holes and ledges.
