Unequal pair of houses. Early-mid C19. Slatehanging to front
including parapet and brick end stacks. Double-depth plan,
each house with 1 large room at the front and the entrance
halls are paired to the centre.
3 storeys; nearly symmetrical 2:1:2-window front with pair of
central doorways; No.9 is wider to upper floors. The wall
breaks back to right of doorways and the central windows above
the doorways belong to No.9 (left). Round-arched openings to
ground floor including pair of doorways with moulded
architraves, plain glazed fanlights and panelled doors with
fielded panels. No.10 has original sashes with glazing bars,
those to ground floor with spoked fanlight heads. No.9 has
later horned sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
