Barn. Early C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with thatched roof.
Built at right-angles to road. 5 timber-framed bays with central midstrey
and rear aisle. Half-hipped roof. Full-height double doors to south (front)
side, and low double doors to rear. Lean-tos flanking front entrance.
Interior: cut jowls to principal posts. Unusual ogee soffits to jowls of
posts flanking midstrey. Arch-braced tie-beams. Collared staggered butt purlin
roof. Almost straight arch braces to arcade plates. Jowled aisle wall-posts.
Straight wall bracing. Some rafters re-used from lapped-collar roof.
