House and shops, 1 building. Originally Cl8, but altered in appearance.
Before about 1935 this house was a rare example in Oxford of good C18 brickwork
and fenestration. It now has a modern stuccoed front with modern shop fronts
to the ground floor. 3-storeyed with cellars, moulded eaves cornice, parapet
and brick stacks. 6 sash windows in plain reveals. There is a modern brickwork
visible at the back with glazing bars. Interior has a C18 staircase and
some panelling.
All the listed buildings on the South Side form a group.
