South west aspect. Adelphi Row: eight early C19 cottages, formerly nine or ten but some single units have paired to form one dwelling. Coursed ironstone rubble with stone tiled roofs. All similarly detailed, but the three western most cottages are possibly slightly earlier, as there is a break in build at this point and they have flat timber lintels to all openings, the others have rendered brick heads.
