Phosphate rock silo No 15, Billingham, Stockton on Tees-This silo was designed by Monnoyer British Construction Ltd. It was for storing phosphate rock that was imported to make fertilizer. The curved shape meant more could be stored in this silo than in any other. It is the earliest surviving example of this type of silo in England. There is another at Middleton Business Park, Heysham, Morecambe, Lancashire. Still standing February 2020 and Should be Grade II listed also, formerly on the ICI Trimpell Refinery site, once used to make Aviation 100 Octane fuel for Spitfires from 1941.
