Large house. C18 altered and extended C19. Painted brick, old tile
gabled roofs. Irregular plan. 2 storeys. Several large chimneys.
Modillioned cornice, parapet with coping; mostly sash windows with
glazing bars. South front:- First floor string and large central
semi-circular bow the whole height of the house with 3 bays of tall
sash windows. The bow is flanked by balancing but unsymmetrical
wings of 2 bays, each with tall chimney near centre.
