L) Jesus telling the soldiers, "Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely." (Luke 3:14)
C) The healing of the centurion's servant and the building of a Synagogue. (Luke 7:1-10)
R) Cornelius, a Roman centurion and a devout Jew, is told by an angel that God has heard his prayers and gifts. He is to send for Peter, who will bring the gospel to him and his household. (Acts 10:4)
