Dairy House

(Formerly listed as Goose Green, SYNDERFORD, THORNCOMBE)



Farmhouse. C16 with C18 alterations. Rubble walls with brick cladding to east facade (main front). Brickwork in English bond with regular pattern of burnt headers. Plain tile roof. Brick stacks at ridge. Two storeys. Six-seven window range. Renewed wooden casements with large glass panes. Wide segmental brick arches at right hand end (former cart-shed). Studded plank door with lean-to plain tile roof over. Interior: large open fireplace with wooden lintel over.
