Garden wall. c1841 as main house (qv), for Edmund Foster. Red brick in English bond with decorative blue headers and ashlar dressings. Low wall with wide central entrance-way in line with house entrance, and 9 bays to either side with 1-bay returns. Wall has ashlar plinth and saddle-back coping. Square piers with stepped ashlar caps and finials define bays which have mullioned ashlar openings of 4, 6 and 4 lights. Console brackets flank central piers which have iron stanchions for former gates; the right-hand pier has rebuilt base.
