Detached house, - former Post Office. Appears mid-C19, may be of earlier
origin. Roughcast walls with stone dressings, - partly on brick base. Hipped
thatched roof, brick stack near centre. In traditional style. Centre section
of one storey and attic; sections each side single storey. Centre section has
projecting bay, with hipped tiled roof on ornamental timber brackets. Part
glazed door in this, and 5-light window with arched lights. Above this a
timber oriel window with arched lights and moulded head and cill brackets. In
left section, 2 segmental-headed casements with glazing bars in upper panes.
Right section, set back, of similar design. Quite picturesque.
