Late C17-C18. Part of a terrace of three cottages with Nos 522 and 524.
Plastered walls on brick base, thatched roof, brick stack. One storey and
attics. Ledged door under weather-boarded pentice. Ground floor has two
casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has two dormers with similar
casements. Main ground floor room has exposed stop-chamfered ceiling beam.
Large fireplace - now built up.
Probably represents encroachment on common land.
