Late C17-C18. Part of a terrace of three cottages with Nos 523 and 524. Plastered
walls on brick base, thatched roof, brick stack. One storey and attics. North
elevation has, on ground floor, two casement windows with glazing bars, and one modern
casement. Entrance at rear. Modern flat-roofed porch. Ground floor has two modern
windows with top-hung lights. Attic has two dormers with casements with glazing bars.
Single-storey lean-to on west under thatched catslide roof has one casement window
with horizontal glazing bars.
Probably represents encroachment on common land.
