1/74 The Warden's House

GV II

House in terrace. c1842 - former Coastguard House. Brick walls, plastered.
Slate roof with battlemented parapet and coped gables; brick end stacks
with battlement ornament to caps. 2 storeys. Projecting piers at each end
rising above parapet. Central battlemented porch with flush panel door in
side wall and sash window with glazing bars in front wall. Ground floor has
2 sash windows with glazing bars. First floor has 2 similar windows and
blank window above porch. A National Trust property. RCHM Monument 3.
