1/73 Carpenter's Shop

GV II

Workshop, between Quay Cottages (q.v.) and the Warden's House (q.v.). c1842.
Brick walls, plastered, slate roof with battlemented parapet to gable. Gable
end to quay. Single-storey. Shop window with glazing bars, and timber
surround and entablature; and part-glazed door. Cross-shaped opening in
gable. String course below battlements. Part of an important group on the
harbour frontage. A National Trust property.
