Pair of cottages, built c1915 by Sir Ernest Debenham. Designers probably Halsey
Ricardo and MacDonald Gill. Concrete block walls, rendered, thatched roofs, brick
stacks with ornamental detail. Two storeys and attics. Recessed porches with
ledged doors. Ground floors each have three casement windows with glazing bars.
First floors each have four similar windows. Attics each have two dormers with
similar casements. No. 33 has been extended to west; the extension, of one storey
and attics, has rendered walls and thatched roof. Bay window at west end with
casements with glazing bars.
