House. Late C17 with extensive mid Cl9 alterations. Roughly-dressed sandstone
with massive quoins; pantiled roof with double row of sandstone flags at eaves;
hand-made.-brick and stone stacks. Door and window openings altered mid Cl9.
2-storey, 4-bay front has central C20 glazed door in tooled, flat-surround and
flanking 9-pane sashes with raised sills, left bay obscured by late C20 gabled
garage. First floor has blank central bay, two 4-pane sashes to right and
blocked window to left. Ground floor of right return has blocked 3-light
mullioned window, first floor has similar 3-light window with chamfered mullions
and latticed casements. Moderately-pitched roof has moulded gable copings with
shaped kneelers, swept eaves, brick ridge stack and corniced right end chimney.

Garage attached to left and single-storey addition to rear of rebuilt left
return not of special interest.
