SO 70 NW AWRE NORTHINGTON LANE

Indicated on map SO 70 NW as GUY HALL. Dwelling. C17. Blue lias rubble,
Welsh slate roof. Compact unit, probably part of larger original structure,
large stack, right. Three storeys, south gable front one-windowed, modern
3-light casements; road from modern lean-to at ground floor, small 2-light
casement and very small stair light over, new door; west front mixed sand
stone and lias, three 2-light casements. Interior: newel stair north-east
corner, stone first flight and timber second flight, contained in semi-
circular plan. Chamfered and stopped beams, some propped and scarfed. This
property some characteristics in common with Guy Hall Farm opposite (qv).
