House. C17, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with machine-made
red clay tiles. 4 bays facing SE with C20 axial stack one bay from right end.
C20 single-storey extension to rear, with lean-to porch with slate roof in right
rear angle. One storey with attics. 3 C20 casements and one more in gabled
dormer. 2 C20 plain boarded doors. Jowled posts, chamfered axial beams (one
with lamb's tongue stops), plain joists of horizontal section, mostly plastered
to the soffits, original rebated floorboards, clasped purlin roof. At the time
of survey, September 1984, this house was in the form of 2 cottages but was
being converted back to one dwelling.
