TL 72 NW SHALFORD JASPER'S GREEN

3/68 Lowlands Farmhouse

GV II

House. C.1600, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade
red clay tiles. 4 bays facing W, with C19 axial stack one bay from right end.
One storey with attics. 3 C20 casements, and one more in gabled dormer. C20
door. The rear pitch of the roof retains the beginning of a gambrel roof of a
former rear extension, now demolished. The interior has chamfered axial beams,
one with step stops, and plain joists of horizontal section supported on pegged
clamps, but original. C20 floor in left bay. Clasped purlin roof. RCHM 2.
