Late C17 2 storey house part timber-framed below rendering with incised
coursing. Steep pitched machine-tiled roof, brick chimney stacks. 2
hipped dormers. Moulded brick cornice. This and No 33 Church Street form
one block. 3 light casement windows on 1st floor and a smaller one next to
left hand window. Ground floor openings irregularly spaced, and 3 light
window to left of entrance, a 2 light to right and a very small window at
left. Plain bracketted modern hood over flush panelled door.

Nos 36 to 40 (even) Church Street form a group with Stratford House, Mill Lane
and all the listed building in the Market Square.
