John Wilson. Buff brick, bronze cladding; flat roof. 3
storeys plus basement. Raised courtyard of square-plan,
surrounded on three sides with windows facing outward (south).
Raised square area with canted sides to centre of courtyard
provides top-lighting for breakfast room below. Each storey
of accommodation is set back, providing paved terrace area in
front of rooms at each level. Brick strips between rooms.
Full-height glazing in timber frames, 2-light with rail at
dado height. Outer perimeter overhanging to upper storeys on
tall brick piers, and expressed staircases. Vertical timber
slatting with windows behind.
