Late C18, possibly 1783, a date that appears on a brick. Red brick. 4
storeys, 4 windows, sashes with glazing bars. Early C19 shopfront 5 bays
storeys, Ionic pilasters and entablature with modillion cornice. 1st floor
windows have ornamental Gothic iron balconies. Band below parapet, parapet
wall with stone coping, roof not visible. (RCHM 107.)
Nos 9, 10, 13 to 17 (consec), 19 to 21 (consec), 23 and 24 form a group.
