House, mid C18 with C19 rear extension. Local gault brick with
internal timber-framed wall possibly contemporary. Plain tile
roof with parapet gables and end stacks. Two storeys and
attics, symmetrical five 'bay' facade. Three hipped casement
dormer windows, five first floor, flush-framed twelve-paned hung
sash windows in segmental brick arches, similar ground floor
windows rebated with original C18 raised and fielded panelled
shutters. Wooden doorcase with fluted Ionic capitals and dentil
enrichment to cornice and pediment. C18 door with six raised
and fielded panels. Interior has room to south with C18 chimney
piece, and C18 panelling and chimney piece to north room. Open
string staircase, closed string at attic level with carved
scroll brackets to risers, turned newels and balusters and
moulded handrail. First floor chimney piece has delft tiles.
Fire insurance plaque on street facade.
