Training centre 1864, originally a school and school house.
Patterned courses of clunch with gault brick dressings. Stone
coped parapet gables with slate roof and patterned ridge tiles.
Central ridge stack, and stack to right hand. House to north,
two storeys with closed gabled entrance porch to left hand with
two-centred, chamfered arch. Three first floor casement windows
with flat arches and chamfered brick jambs. Two large ground
floor three-light casement windows with similar arches. School
to south, one storey. Bell turret in gable parapet. Central
closed porch flanked by two transomed and mullioned stone
windows with square-headed drip moulds. Included for group
value.
