House. Late C18 cottage orne. Timber-framed and plastered, plastered
plinths. Thatched roof with C18 local gault brick stack behind the ridge.
Two storeys and attics, symmetrical facade of three bays. Pedimented closed
porch with four-centred arch and panelled door with studded decoration;
window above porch shaped to four-centred arch, two ground floor and two
similar first floor three-light casement windows with oval-patterned glazing
bars. (qv. Tickell Arms, North Road). Interior: Exposed chamfered ceiling
beams, fitted C18 cupboard and four-panelled doors.
