Engine house. Mid C19. Random sandstone rubble with large quoins and brick dressings. Rectangular roofless building, with tall round-headed opening front and rear with brick sides and head; various openings including door at lower ground level to front with stone relieving arch and round-headed upper opening at left return. One of the few substantially remaining engine houses in Nailsea, part of the coalfield workings.
