Detached house, now in 2 ownerships. Early C19. Colourwashed render with stone
porch and slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 windows. All windows are 16-pane sashes
except one small late C19 two-light casement to left of porch. Central projecting
Doric porch with deep entablature and moulded cornice. 6 panel door with top
2 panels glazed. Lean-to porch extension for No. 2 to left hand with part-glazed
C20 door. Shallow pitched roof with 3 ridge brick stacks and 1 further rendered
stack with brick cap to rear. The house derives its name from a stream that
flows past its east end wall.
