Footpath guidepost: late C19 for Wirral Footpaths Preservation
Society. Tapering octagonal cast-iron shaft with moulded top and ball
finial. Shaft bears inscription. WIRRAL FOOTPATHS ETC. PRESERVATION
SOCIETY BY PERMISSION OF THE COUNCIL. Single finger plate with
nicked corners reads PUBLIC FOOTPATH TO LEDSHAM, KEEP TO THE PATH.
