Blacksmith's workshop. Early-mid C19. For the Wentworth Estate.
Dressed sandstone, Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan. Single-storey,
3 bays. Boarded door to left of centre with plain lintel directly
beneath eaves. 16-pane sash to left. Boarded garage doors to right
under flat arch. Hipped roof, rooflight. Left return: boarded door
flanked by renewed casements, lintels tooled as voussoirs. To right:
2 cast-iron doors to a narrow vertical cavity; blind window to right.
Rebuilt end stack to left.

Interior: double hearth in workshop to rear. Narrow cavity on left
return: fire-brick lined and originally backing onto another hearth;
probably used for expanding iron wheel rims prior to fitting. Part
of the estate workshop complex. Timber outbuildings to right return
not of special interest.
