Joinery workshop and house. Early-mid C19; C20 additions and alterations. For the Wentworth Estate. Dressed sandstone, graduated slate roof. 2 storeys, 9 bays; house with rear lean-to occupies left end bay. Plinth. Ground-floor openings largely obscured by later additions; bay 1 has 4-pane sash, bay 9 has renewed casement. Central archway now within later addition. 1st floor: central 3 windows have projecting sills, horizontal-sliding sashes and lintels tooled as voussoirs. Outer bays each with deep sill-band linking large round-arched openings: bay 1 blind; bays 2 and 3 with part-glazed double doors and fanlights with radial glazing bars; bays 7, 8 and 9 with sash windows in stone panels. Paired gutter brackets. Hipped roof with short ashlar stacks to each end of ridge. Left return: central part-glazed door beneath deep band; above, a 6-pane sash with small circular light to its left and another 6-pane sash above.

Interior: extensively altered. Part of the estate workshop complex. Attached single-storey additions not of special interest.
