House and cottage, now all one. Mid C18. Coursed dressed stone, stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays, left bay built into hillside with single-storey cottage at lst-
floor level. Flat-faced mullion windows with oversailing lintels and cills. Left
bay: doorway with tie-stones to right of 3-light window. Central bay: doorway, now
2-light window, to left of 4-light window with same above. Right bay: door on right
masked by gabled single-storey addition of c.1980; 4-light window to left on both
floors. Ridge stack, edge on, between bays 2 and 3. Rear: central bay has lst floor door;
2 single-light windows to right on lst floor. Right return: 3-light window to right
with 3 single-light windows above. Interior: stone fireplaces with deep lintels to
central and right hand rooms. Garage with room over added to left end at higher level
c.1980 not of special interest.
