Cottage. c1800 with slightly later addition. Hammer-dressed stone, Welsh
blue-slate and pantile roof. 2-cell direct-entry into 1st cell plan, double-
depth. 2 storeys, two 1st-floor windows. Central doorway has monolithic
lintel dressed with false voussoirs. Flanking windows have similar lintels,
projecting sills and small-pane Yorkshire sashes with metal-casement windows
above. Coped gables with kneelers. Ashlar end stack to right; large rendered
external stack to left end, partly obscured by lean-to which has single
Yorkshire sash with lintel and projecting sill and pantile roof.

Interior: doorway opens against staircase; door under stair has raised-and-
fielded panels. Windows have panelled shutters and window seats.

In the C19 this was a tailor's and draper's shop. Included for group value.
