Late C17, possibly a remodelling of an earlier cottage. Coursed rubble with
alternating bands of Pennant sandstone and limestone. Slate hipped roof to front,
steep pitched slate to rear range. Ashlar stack. Two storeys, 2 windows; first floor
has glazing bar sashes, ground floor has C20 shop window and door. Elevation to
Horseshoe Lane has 2- and 3-light casements with cambered heads, voussoirs alternately
limestone and Pennant sandstone.
