Threshing barn. Dated 1841. Coursed rubble, limestone and sandstone
dressings, stone tiled roof to south front, double Roman tiled roofs to single
storey south extensions, single storey east extension and rear. T-plan.
Front has gabled cart entry with limestone and sandstone segmental head with
limestone key, plank doors with strap hinges, ventilation slits to sides; west
side has loading door at upper level with sandstone segmental head, ventilation
slit and circular pigeon entry with limestone cill, east side has ventilation
slits. Rear has cart entry with sandstone segmental head and limestone key,
loading doors to right and left at upper level, ventilation slits at ground
level. Interior: 6 bays, collar, principal rafter and plated yoke,
ventilation slits in deep splayed reveals with timber lintels, inner arch to
front cart entry has limestone and sandstone segmental head.
