Here lyeth ye body of Robert Trencreeke of Trencreeke in Crede in ye county of Cornwall Esq. couseler at lawe 30 yeares Iustice of ye peace & Coram, a lover of his Countrie, freindly to his neighbours, liberal to ye poore, his paynfull travill in ye one, his reddye advice for ye other & boutifull hospitallytie to all did manifest a man of a constant resolution in ye carriage of his life, who made his peace in Christ, wth God & Man, dyed ye 24 of December Anno Domini 1594. Also Here lyeth buried ye bodye of Anis his wife, daughter and coheritrix unto W. Vivian gent and to Kingdon of Treunsie Esq. she lived wth ye forsaid Rob.Tren. A modest lovinge & obediet wife ye space of 40 years: mad her peace in Christ wth God and Man and dyed In 20 1596. Theise left behinde y 4 davghters 1 Jvlian, maried John Carmynowe of Respryne Esq: 2. Janet, mar. to Ric. Penwarne of Penw. in Mawnan Esq. 3. Kath: mar. to Digorye Polwhele of Poly. Esq 4.
