Description


MADRON SW 43 SE 7/117 Trevaylor Cottage including front - garden walls and gate piers GV II Semi-detached house, front garden walls and gate piers. Circa early C19. Painted rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimney over party wall, left, and gable end, right. Cast iron ogee gutters. Plan: 2 room plan with central lobby and stair and later C19 single storey wing at right angles to rear right. The similar but altered attached house to the left is not included. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2 window south-east front with central doorway. Old ledged door. Original 12-pane horizontal-sliding sashes. Interior: not inspected but said to be little altered since the C19. Shallow garden at the front enclosed by rubble walls. Central gateway with granite monolithic piers.
