Farmhouse, circa late C17 or early C18. C20 extension to rear. Whitewashed
rubble stone with slate roof. Large projecting stone stack on left hand gable end
with brick stack in right hand hipped end.
Originally 2 rooms with cross passage. 2 storeys asymmetrical 2 window front.
Ground floor with two 2-light casements, the left hand window with glazing bars.
Central door with rendered C20 porch. Above two 2-light casements, the right hand
one with glazing bars.
Single storey store on left hand gable end, rubble stone with slate roof and 2
double doors.
Interior not inspected.
In C13 the Manor of Polruan, otherwise Esse or Ussa, belonged to the Daubeny
family. However by the end of the C14 the Manor had been divided up and linked with
the Manor of Lanteglos.
