House. Early C17, considerably rebuilt and restored C20. Rubble, thatched,
with ridge stack and gable stack to right, some pantiles, roof ridge higher to
right. 3-room through passage plan, T-plan formed by rear wing. 2 storeys and
5 windows, all C20 2-light casements, 2 eyebrow dormers to right, thatch raised
over 3 casements to left, 2nd from right has 1/2-glazed door with thatched hood;
ridge stack to left of door. Left return was formerly single storey end room,
has 3 buttresses and C20 door to left, C20 plate-glass window at first floor;
right return has blank gable end. Rear has C20 French window to left, roof
extended over rear of passage with C20 6-pane light, 2-storey rear gabled wing
has 2-light casement with timber lintel at ground floor, 2-light casement with
mullion chamfered inside, iron stanchions and decorative catch at first floor;
single storey lean-to along right with single and 2-light casement and door to
right, pantiled roof, formerly dairy. Interior: heavy chamfered beam to room
to right, room to left has fireplace under ridge stack with stone lintel and oven
to right, end room to left has rear door with ventilation holes to former dairy.
