Watermill. Probably early C19, with additions and alterations of later C19 and C20.
Painted stone rubble; partly slate-hung. Slate roofs with ridge tiles and gable
ends.

running along the left side from front to rear; the waterwheel is missing. In the
later C19 a wing was added to right and a second wing to rear right.
Exterior: The main mill is 3-storey, with gable end to front; second floor level is
slate-hung. Ground floor has C20 door, first floor has double loading doors. Second
floor level has gabled wooden hoist housing for unloading sacks of flour with a drop-
chute floor and C20 window at the top. There are granite quoins to left and right
and a straight joint to right, where the lower 2-storey wing is attached. The wing
is also slate-hung with rag slates at first floor level. Ground floor has 3 doors
and 2 windows. First floor has 3 loading doors. The hip of the roof of the rear
wings is visible above the roof ridge. At the left side of the main mill, partly
slate-hung at upper level. Ground floor has double width opening to left and 2
window openings to right. First and second floors have two 2-light casements, some
8-pane casements remaining. The rear gable end of the mill has loading doors at each
level. The roof over the main mill has a small gabled ventilator.
