House with shop at ground floor. Circa 1780, with C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered
stone rubble. Slate roof with gable ends and gable end brick stack to right.
Double depth plan, with shop at ground floor to left in former principal room,
entrance to right leading to passage with stair well to rear right; service room to
rear left now also part of shop.
3 storeys and 2 windows, ground floor has paired shop front of C20 with half-glazed
door set off-centre to right with overlight, fascia board across the whole front; 6-
panelled C20 door with overlight to right. First and second floors have 12-pane
sashes, wooden brackets to eaves.
Interior The entrance passage has a round arch to rear, on consoles, leading to stair
well; open well stair with stick balusters and columnar newels. At first floor, 2
rooms to front and one to rear, room to front left has slate chimneypiece with
pilasters and plain mantel. At first floor to rear, 12-pane sash lighting rear room
and stair well.
