schoolmaster's house.

GV II

School and former schoolmaster's house 1870s, brown brick and timber
framing; tiled roofs. Long single-storey school building with linked
schoolmaster's house standing forward to left. The school building
has black and white end gable and small cross-gable at centre of
front, with lateral chimney; small-pane brick-mullioned windows.
Schoolmaster's house of 1½ storeys has recessed porch with part-glazed
door under pentice roof, a small-pane brick-mullioned window to each
side and a black-and-white dormer gable. Black-and-white end gable
above ground-floor bay window with lean-to roof; 1½ storey link to
school building; 1 brick chimney behind ridge and 1 on rear slope of
left gable.
Interiors not inspected.
Part of an attractive group around forecourt to churchyard.
