SX 35 SE SHEVIOCK FINNYGOOK LANE, Portwrinkle

5/304 Virginia Cottage

GV II

Pair of attached houses, now one. Mid-late C18 some C20 alterations. Rendered stone
rubble; slate roof with gabled ends and gable end stacks with cap stones.
Pair of cottages with adjoining central entrances, each of one-room plan, rooms
heated by gable end stacks.
2-storey and 2 windows, 2 small 2-light casements with slate cills under eaves,
probably C19 casements, ground floor 2-light casement to left and right, with central
porch with pitched roof and 2 half-glazed doors divided by wooden patition. At left
side, the slope of the roof is higher to front.
Right side has external stack and small C20 single storey addition to right.
Interior Not inspected.
