SX 35 SE SHEVIOCK TREHILL LANE

5/327 Chimney about 10 metres south of
barn at Trethill House

GV II


Chimney at brickworks. Mid C19. Slatestone rubble with granite dressings. Chimney
in 2 stages, the first stage of square plan with battered walls, with bull nose
moulding to top in granite. 2nd stage is circular, tapered, with corbelled string
course to top and appears to have had embattled parapet in brick. Said to have been
part of a brickworks on the site.
