GV II

House. Mid C18 with C19 alterations. Sandstone rubble, hipped slate roof with 3
rubble rear lateral stacks.
3-room plan, each room heated by a rear lateral stack; the stair is boxed in to the
rear of the central room. The entrance is to a small internal porch between the room
to left and the central room. 2-storeys and 4 windows, all 12-pane sashes, some with
plate-glass lower section; central half-glazed door with 12-pane sash to left and
right and door to end right; moulded eaves cornice Left side has canted bay at
ground floor with leaded lights, 12-pane sash at first floor. Rear is partly
rendered to left, with 6-pane light at ground floor and C20 circular window at first
floor centre, to the right of the central stack.
Interiors largely of the C19; central room has cupboard to rear right with shaped
shelves. Rest of interior not inspected.
