Probably fish store, now house. Circa mid C19 probably converted in early to mid
C20. Painted and rendered stone rubble with C20 slate mansard roof with gable ends.
C20 projecting rendered chimney stack on right-hand gable end and large rendered
stone rubble chimney stack on left-hand gable end between Sea Winds and Harbour View
(qv). Plan altered internally of single depth, 2-rooms wide. Built into side of
hill with 1 storey and attic elevation to the Warren and 2 storey and attic elevation
to the harbour with front wall rising from the stone rubble harbour wall.
Harbour side, with regular 2-window front with C20 2- and 3-light casements with
glazing bars. 2-window openings on each floor. Ground floor with small balcony over
harbour with C20 metal railings. Attic storey with window openings in mansard roof.
Elevation to the Warren with blocked opening on right-hand side with circa C19 stone
rubble steps leading down. On left, steps up to C20 partly glazed door.
Interior not inspected.
Included for group value as an integral the harbour scene.
Early photographs of the harbour illustrate Sea Winds as a small store of 2 storeys
with attic window beneath raked dormer. The roof has been heightened and
fenestration altered.
